Picturesque Wheat Field Prints in Rodarte Fall/Winter 2011/2012 Collection
Rodarte has been inspired by American prairie in "Days of Heaven", drama starring Richard Gere, which showed in their Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection that feature delicate lace, beaded boots, and most importantly those graphic picturesque wheat field and sky prints on beautiful silk gowns.
Rodarte Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection that they showcased during the Fashion Week feature amazing picturesque prints of wheat fields at the hems of beautiful maxi silk dresses. These silky creations in light blue and yellow are simply fascinating but so is the collection itself. Inspired by the movie Days of Heaven set on the farm explain the prairie motifs that can be seen throughout the whole collection that also includes beautiful lace, full skirts, and embellished tulle.Rodarte Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection is light with rare pops of black, deep blue, and red. Beside the graphic picturesque wheat field prints there are geometric patterns, abstract and floral prints that are mixed together in the looks. The shapes are also geometric yet feminine and mostly flattering. Shiny and glitzy pieces add glamor to the farm-inspired wear.
