Kitty Su launch party

Earlier this week, 13,000 sq ft of ethereal party space was added to the nightlife of New Delhi. The Kitty Su night club, at The Lalit, saw the capital’s swish set descend to kick off what promises to establish itself as one of the city’s hippest hotspots. Conceptualized as an “urban music shrine,” the club fuses earthy elements (dark wood floors and authentic sculptures from Khajuraho), indi-cool (walls covered with carved wooden jalis) and Euro disco (fluorescent LED lights).  The club boasts of a mini nightclub within the club called The Salon (with its own DJ console), an exclusive A list area aptly called The List (with a mini-ramp included inside), a champagne-only lounge called The Dressing Room and its own range of branded merchandise. Society heavyweights andcelebutantes mingled over the music  brought by MOS and VOID. Tikka Shatrujit Singh, Shashi and Sunanda Tharoor and Marut Sikka partied with designers Namrata Joshipura, Shrivan Narresh, Rahul Khanna, Varun Bahl and Gaurav Gupta. Delhi party queens Priya Sachdev, Pia Pauro, Pernia Qureshi  and Ayesha Thapar were seen in the company of Fleur Xavier,  Ayaan Ali Bangash, Koel Puri, Naveen Ansal, Raseel Gujral and Sanjay Kapoor.
